Family Check-Up

The Kid’s Therapy Center has trained additional counselors in the Family Check-Up program! This is a strengths-based model that focuses on the specific needs and strengths of each family.

Through Family Check-Up you can make lasting change in your family’s lives. Family Check-Up is backed by over 30 years of research and is shown to help parents who are overwhelmed with their child’s behavior, exhausted from every parenting book and blog and still at a loss for what else to do. Family Check-Up has been shown to increase positive parenting, reduce child behavior concerns, and encourage healthy child and family development.

We also offer Everyday Parenting, a companion program that builds off the skills learned in Family Check-Up. This is an additional research-backed program that addresses healthy family relationships, positive behavior change, and healthy limit setting.

To qualify for Family Check-Up, the child must be between ages 2-17 and must be living with their caregiver(s). Please call us at The Kid’s Therapy Center to learn more!
