Why The Kid's Therapy Center LLC
The Kid's Therapy Center LLC was developed to offer creative mental health therapies to the children and their families across North Dakota. The Center is dedicated to providing help to all ages, infants to teens, and adults, while supporting and educating
those who care about them, such as parents and professionals.
It’s a place where we have staff that specializes and focuses in
helping children to adults with mental health issues.
Treating children takes a special person, someone who is
trained in child development, pediatric mental health issues
and treatment protocols in children and successful parenting
skills. When working with adults having a choice of personalities
and specialties is something we are pleased to offer.
It has been known for years that children of all ages express
themselves nonverbally. Therefore, when children need help with their emotions they need a special person who is trained in meeting them at their level.
At The Kid’s Therapy Center staff are known to be leading the way in the mental health field. The therapists are trained to apply the traditional “talk” therapy but also apply creative therapies such as play therapy, art therapy, and sandplay therapy. These creative therapies allow children to communicate the way they know how, by playing or drawing. Our therapists are uniquely trained to assess and understand the contents of a child’s play session or artwork.
The Kid's Therapy Center, LLC also works with adults. Therapists have training in working with adults in multiple settings such as individual, couples, family, and parenting. The therapists at The Kid's Therapy Center, LLC have training to help with may different issues such as:
