Therapeutic Skills Program
Building real-life emotional, behavioral, and coping skills
Program Overview
The Therapeutic Skills Program provides structured, hands-on support to children, teens, and families working on emotional regulation, behavior, communication, and daily living skills.

This program is designed to help bridge the gap between therapy sessions and everyday life by giving clients opportunities to practice and strengthen skills in a supportive clinical setting. Services are skills-based, goal-directed, and provided under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Therapeutic Skills services focus on learning by doing, helping skills translate into real-world success.

How This Program Is Different From Counseling
The Therapeutic Skills Program is not counseling or psychotherapy.
Therapeutic Skills services focus on teaching and practicing practical skills that support daily functioning, whereas counseling focuses on diagnosis, assessment, and psychotherapy. Many clients benefit from receiving both services together, allowing skills learned in therapy to be reinforced and practiced.
