Elizabeth was born and raised in Fargo before moving to Bismarck in 2016. She graduated from University of Mary with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling.

Elizabeth feels incredibly privileged to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. In practice, she has supported clients experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, low self-esteem, trauma, and suicidal ideation, among other challenges. Elizabeth has a particular passion for supporting members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Drawing from this passion, she has engaged in legislative advocacy opposing conversion therapy practices for minors and promoting ethical and appropriate mental health care standards. Elizabeth also has experience working with first responders, at-risk youth and their families, and survivors of human trafficking.

Elizabeth utilizes an integrative and client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from Brainspotting, play therapy, art therapy techniques, sand tray therapy, and traditional talk therapy interventions based on the unique needs and interests of each client. Her favorite part of her work is witnessing clients grow in confidence as they build self-esteem, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and gain insight into their life experiences. She is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they share their stories and vulnerability.

In addition to providing therapy services, Elizabeth serves as Adolescent Program Coordinator at The Kid’s Therapy Center, where she assists in the development and facilitation of adolescent mental health programming and collaborates on community outreach initiatives.

​

Outside of work, Elizabeth values spending time with family and friends, often hosting game nights and dinners. She also enjoys exploring town with her pug mix, Tinkerbell.
