
Chelsie Heichel, MS, LPCC

Chelsie grew up on a dairy farm in the southwest corner of Minnesota before getting her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Augustana College in 2012. She returned to Minnesota to complete a master’s in counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2017. After graduating, Chelsie moved to Jamestown, ND and began her career as a school counselor where she worked for 8 years, mostly in elementary schools. In 2024, Chelsie completed additional coursework through Minnesota State University, Moorhead to enter the clinical mental health counseling field.
She has a passion for supporting children and their parents navigate through life’s trials and joys. She uses a variety of methods in her therapeutic practice, including expressive art, play, sandtray, and traditional talk therapy.
In her spare time, Chelsie enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog Ruby and cat Leo, as well as many nieces and nephews. She loves reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
