Amanda Lange, MS, LPCC-S
Clinical Director - Counselor
Amanda Lange, MS, LPCC-S, was born and raised in Bismarck and has dedicated her career to helping children, teens, and families navigate life’s most challenging moments. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Mary, graduating with her Master’s in 2018. Since then, Amanda has built a reputation for combining evidence-based therapy with creativity, compassion, and a deep understanding of child and family dynamics.

As Clinical Director at The Kid’s Therapy Center, Amanda specializes in working with children of all ages, along with their parents, caregivers, and families. Her therapeutic approach is engaging, relationship-focused, and tailored to each child’s needs, often incorporating play therapy, art, sandtray, Brainspotting, and trauma-focused interventions such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT).

Amanda is especially passionate about helping families involved in high-conflict custody and court proceedings. She is widely recognized for her child-centered approach and commitment to ensuring that a child’s mental health and emotional well-being remain the priority throughout difficult family transitions. Her advanced training in high-conflict family systems, reunification work, co-parenting counseling, and court-related mental health services has made her a sought-after professional.

In addition to clinical work, Amanda frequently provides professional trainings and presentations for counselors, legal professionals, and community organizations on topics including high-conflict family dynamics, parental alienation, trauma, and navigating court involvement in mental health cases. She is also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her dogs — and firmly believes that healing happens best through connection, safety, and a little bit of creativity.
